SIOBHAN LIDDELL

By KEN JOHNSON

First known for her extremely delicate materials and processes, Ms. Liddell here works with heavier stuff to try to refine sensory perception. Distributed around the gallery in this rather dry show are beautiful elongated balloon-like forms made of solid glass; amorphous papier-mâché or bronze objects that preserve human body impressions; padded wedges for viewers to lean or lie on, and pieces of paper casting subtle reflections of color.
